Fremont Canyon Wilderness

Described by some as the "the Yosemite of Orange County," Fremont is rich in diversity and history lore. The Irvine Ranch Conservancy conducts docent-led hikes , mountain bike rides and equestrian rides enabling nature-lovers to acquaint themselves with the canyons' wonders. Reservations for docent-led outings are required due to the area's sensitive habitat. As part of a comprehensive environmental assessment, the Irvine Ranch Conservancy will study the area to determine expanded access opportunities in the future.
